About the Event

SCCM NorCal will once again sponsor the Spring Symposium bringing together multi-disciplinary fellows from Northern California hospitals. We sponsor this annual event as a way to get to know our members-in-training and to provide a forum to learn about critical care research and quality improvement projects being conducted in Northern California. This year, we will host this in conjunction with the Golden Gate Chapter of California Society of Health-System Pharmacists (CSHP).

Participating programs include: UCSF, UC-Davis, Santa Clara Valley, Stanford, Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital.

Preliminary agenda:

5:30 - Doors open. Sponsors available for discussion. Buffet dinner.

6:00 - 6:45 - Presentations by Fellows.

6:45 - 6:55 - Break. Sponsors available for discussion.

6:55 - 7:15 - "Resuscitating the ICU Liberation (A-F) Bundle Following the Covid-19 Pandemic" - Presentation by Julianna Barr, MD, FCCM, SCCM NorCal Board Member.

7:15 - 8:15 - Presentations by Fellows.

8:15 - 8:30 - Sponsors available for discussion.
